Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls is located on the Zambezi River regarded as one of the greatest attractions in Africa and one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Zambezi is also the fourth largest river in Africa, which is also defining the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Victoria Falls Tours are also a great way to witness some beautiful wildlife, as it is home to an array of animals and birds, as well as incredible fauna.

Victoria Falls Zimbabwe is the only waterfall with a length of more than a kilometer and a Vic Falls Height of more than hundred meters. The sound of Victoria Falls can be caught from a distance of 40 kilometers. But the spray and mist from the falling water is rising to a height of over 400 meters and can be seen from a distance of 50 kilometers. Also, the local tribes used to call the waterfall Mosi-o-Tunya “The smoke that thunders”.

DAY 1: NAIROBI– VICTORIA FALLS

Depart on a morning flight to Victoria Falls.
Met on arrival and transfer to your hotel, check-in and relax.
In the evening, Depart for Sunset Cruise
Operated both Zimbabwe & Zambia side, it is probably the coolest thing to do in Zambezi. Not a single moment of hustle and bustle, grab a glass of chilled bear, wine or whatever and watch the sun set down the Zambezi River in absolute tranquility. You will most definitely spot some crocodiles and hippos on the way or may be herds of elephant crossing the river. Zambezi river cruise lasts for around 2 and a half hours and is among the most relaxing Victoria Falls Activities.

DAY 2: TOUR OF VICTORIA FALLS

Depart for a morning tour of the falls.

The main reason why you are here, is probably to see the world’s largest waterfall. Witnessing one of the world’s greatest spectacle should ideally begin your itinerary of Victoria Falls Activities. Victoria Falls seems equally terrific from both the Zambia and Zimbabwe sides. But if you are travelling during the low water season, then it is advisable to visit from Zimbabwe. However, the peak period to see the falls is from May to Mid- August. Christmas is also busy here, as are the winter months from June to August, when many people visit the region for wildlife watching.
