Pick up from Nairobi hotel, we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley.
Stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point. The Great Rift Valley is a geographical and geological feature running north to south for around 6,400 kilometers, from northern Syria to central Mozambique. Astronauts say it is the most significant physical detail on the planet that is visible from space.
Arrive with a short game drive enroute to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, Check in and have lunch.

On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. The Lake has earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here. The park is also rich in birdlife, with over 400 resident species on the lake and in the surrounding park. Thousands of both little grebes and white winged black terns are frequently seen as are stilts, avocets, ducks, and in the European winter the migrant waders. A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest.
